Sticking to the remit of inherent technicality and packed full of features, objectives and toys, this particular section of the game was always going to get somewhat of a 'divided' response in terms of whether they are 'any good' or 'fun tables' or 'worth buying' to use some common phrases used by players. I could write an essay on this question, but to put things concisely the Deluxe tables were always going to be the most 'subjective' right from the get-go. For the most part I absolutely love the SS, EM, Retro and Remake tables and have put in almost 100 hours, it's just the Deluxe ones i'm struggling with. And i do quite enjoy the Strike table, despite it being aggressively pink for some reason! The aesthetic seems to work well on the Combat table too.Īnyhow, maybe i'm missing something? Are they better in VR? Just wondering what other folk think now that we're 11 tables in and there are potentially another 16 to come if they follow the same pattern as the Remake tables.Īnd apologies if this comes off a bit negative.

On the plus side i appreciate that each table is trying to add something new, like the couple meeting on the bridge in Farfalla Deluxe. The voice acting also seems a bit hit and miss and i tend to turn off the music and just play my own through the Steam player. They break up the flow and obscure the lower playfield and artwork, much of which which isn't to my taste either to be honest. To me the myriad raised bonus playfields aren't much fun. This is probably a "me issue" and I appreciate this is all totally subjective but i find the tables a bit overwhelming with so much going on. I've struggled to get into them to be honest. Just wondering what folk think of the Deluxe tables so far? Do you have any favourites? Which tables would you like to see "Deluxe" versions of next?
